The Cathedral Church of Christ on the Marina is the oldest Anglican cathedral in the Church of Nigeria and the seat of the Diocese of Lagos and the Anglican Province of Lagos. A congregation has worshipped on the site since 1869 and the present building was completed in 1946. It keeps a full Sunday and weekday service pattern and is used for national services of the Anglican church in Nigeria.
