The Evangelische Kirche in Deutschland is the federation of the regional Protestant churches of Germany, Lutheran, Reformed and United together. Its Kirchenamt in Hannover is the administrative office of the whole body. It holds no congregational worship of its own; that belongs to the member churches and their parishes.
