Free Methodist Church USA is a Methodist-family Holiness denomination founded in 1860 by B.T. Roberts, who broke from the Methodist Episcopal Church over pew rental fees and calls for a return to Wesleyan revivalism and abolitionism. Its World Ministries Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, coordinates the denomination's U.S. congregations, global missions, and affiliated colleges.
