JAINA (Federation of Jain Associations in North America) is an umbrella organization founded in 1981 that unites more than 70 local Jain associations and centers across the United States and Canada. Headquartered in San Ramon, California, it works to preserve and promote Jain Dharma and the Jain way of life through religious, educational, and humanitarian programs. JAINA also organizes a biennial convention and Young Jains of America (YJA) youth programming.
