Unity Temple on the Plaza is a Unity Worldwide Ministries congregation on Kansas City, Missouri's Country Club Plaza, near the site where Charles and Myrtle Fillmore founded the Unity movement in 1889. Land for the temple was purchased in 1928, and after 15 years of planning and five years of construction the building opened to the public on June 20, 1948. The congregation continues to offer Unity's teaching of practical Christianity through inspirational services, classes, and community programs.
