It is associated with the planet Venus and with the colour orange, and its quality is exactitude, discrimination and the patient accumulation of verified fact, its shadow a materialism that recognises only what can be weighed and counted. In Bailey's scheme it is the ray held to be especially prominent in the modern scientific and technological age. It is one of the four rays of attribute. The doctrine is a modern one, sketched by Blavatsky in 1888 and developed by Bailey from 1936, and it is offered here as a twentieth-century esoteric framework; its correspondences of planet and colour are part of that synthesis and should not be read as descending from the older astrological tradition they superficially resemble.Cross-Tradition ConnectionsArticle OnConcrete Knowledge and Science, Seven Rays Well-attested Source Divinity Atlas Long-Form Articles, First Editiontier 1SourcesDivinity Atlas Long-Form Articles, First Editiontier 1Comments (0)No comments yet.
