The Solomonic texts

This group gathers the Solomonic grimoires, magical texts attributed to King Solomon, drawing on his legendary command over spirits. The best known are the Key of Solomon and the Lesser Key of Solomon (Lemegeton), which set out the conjuration and control of spirits.

The browser will find the works the atlas gathers here. The entries describe each text's contents and history, noting that the ascription to Solomon is legendary and that these grimoires took shape in the medieval and early modern periods.
