Conservation, a Storyteller Answering to an Accepted Limit

The Juxtaposition Cross of Conservation is named for Gate 32 and Gate 42. Human Design reads Gate 32, from Hexagram 32, Duration, sits in the Spleen and is read as an instinct for what will last, and caution about change undertaken for its own sake; and Gate 42, from Hexagram 42, Increase, sits in the Sacral centre and is read as the energy to carry a process through to its natural end rather than abandoning it midway. Juxtaposition Crosses are set apart from the Right Angle and Left Angle families, reserved for the four line one profile, and read as fixed almost past the point of alternative.

Its design half is Gate 56 and Gate 60. Gate 56 sits in the Throat and is read as the storyteller, stimulating others with ideas drawn from experience whether or not those ideas are true; it pairs with Gate 11 in the channel of Curiosity. Gate 60 sits in the Root and is read as the acceptance of limitation as the only ground real change can grow from; it pairs with Gate 3 in the channel of Mutation.

So a chart carrying this cross conserves what will last while completing what it starts on the surface, while beneath it a storyteller's stimulation answers to an accepted limit that is itself the ground of change. The hexagrams are ancient; grouping them into one incarnation cross is the modern system's own construction.
