Veerayatan's own website states it has treated 3,342,266 patients and performed 364,829 eye surgeries since its founding, including through its Shri Adinath Netralay eye hospital in Palitana, and educated 200,000 children and youth through schools including its Tirthankar Mahavir Vidya Mandir network, alongside providing 2,000,000 instances of emergency and rehabilitation aid since its founding, including relief work following the 2001 Kutch earthquake, figures naming Veerayatan's own reported scale rather than any independently audited total.
Chandanaji led the organization from its 1970 founding until her own death in April 2026, more than half a century of continuous leadership over the hospitals, eye care, schools and disaster relief work she had built in Bihar. Veerayatan continues to run those same institutions today, carrying forward the charitable mission its founder established under her own name and the Jain teachings she drew it from. The organization's own reported totals, treated here as its own account rather than an independently audited figure, describe a scale of hospital and eye care work built up gradually across five decades rather than achieved in any single burst of activity.
