About

The Cathedral Church of St. Paul is the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, located on Tremont Street across from Boston Common. Completed in 1820, it was the first Greek Revival church built in New England and was designated the diocesan cathedral in 1912. A 2014-2015 renovation repositioned the altar to the center of the worship space and added new skylights.
