The Idrisiyya order is a Sufi tariqa of Sunni Islam founded by Ahmad ibn Idris al-Fasi, also called the Tariqa Muhammadiyya. It rejects following any of the four schools of Islamic jurisprudence, functioning more as a set of beliefs and practices aimed at nurturing a direct spiritual link between the disciple and Muhammad than as a conventional organized order.
