Gustav Davidson's dictionary compiles named angels and angelic hierarchies across Jewish, Christian, Islamic and esoteric sources, including material drawn from the Lesser Key of Solomon grimoire tradition, into a single cross-tradition reference. Its real limit is one this atlas states rather than smooths over: Davidson draws canonical scripture and esoteric grimoire material into the same entries without consistently distinguishing their very different authority, so an entry documents that a name appears somewhere in this cross-tradition record, not that any one tradition itself recognizes that name with that status. Use it for a named angel's attested appearances across these sources; a claim about one specific tradition's own theology of angels needs a source dedicated to that tradition rather than this compiled dictionary.
