Andre Padoux (reference article)

Andre Padoux, a publisher's contributor note on Routledge's own product page for Padoux's Tantric Mantras: Studies on Mantrasastra, is the publisher's biographical account of the author, confirmed as a genuine, currently live page for the real 2011 book. Its strength is that a publisher's contributor note is a direct, checkable record of an author's institutional standing, here Padoux's directorship of research at the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and his specialism in Kashmir Shaivism and Shakta Tantrism. Its limit is that publisher contributor copy is brief promotional biography, not independent scholarly biography of Padoux, which the in memoriam notice recorded elsewhere in this atlas's sources partly supplies.
