Janet and Bernard Hamilton, with Yuri Stoyanov, produced this 1998 Manchester Medieval Sources volume translating and annotating the principal Byzantine and Balkan documents on Paulician and Bogomil dualism, from imperial correspondence through Cosmas the Priest's tenth century sermon to Euthymius Zigabenus's twelfth century refutation, alongside a scholarly introduction placing them in context. Because it presents the hostile primary record directly rather than paraphrasing it, it is the clearest place to see the limit every account of Bogomil belief shares: almost everything known was written by the movement's own opponents, to refute it, for an audience that already agreed it was heresy.
