Declaration 127 is a joint public statement issued in 2016 by roughly 180 Heathen organisations across more than twenty nations by 2022, named for stanza 127 of the Havamal, taking a position against the Asatru Folk Assembly's exclusion of non-white and LGBT Heathens from its ranks. As a declaration signed in the signatories' own name, it is authoritative for what those particular organisations say and where they stand, which is the fact this atlas cites it for. It is not an independent survey of Heathen opinion generally and does not represent organisations that did not sign it; read it as one side's public position in a real and ongoing dispute within the movement, not as the settled view of Heathenry as a whole.
