Georgian Polyphonic Singing

This is not a separate work: it is UNESCO's own inscription record for Georgian Polyphonic Singing, one entry in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the same continuously maintained official register this atlas also records as a general source. It descends from that register rather than standing beside it, so citing this entry alongside the general Representative List record, or alongside another of its entries, is one institutional voice, not corroboration. Its real limit is the register's own limit: an official designation record produced by the Intergovernmental Committee for the purpose of recognition and safeguarding, not a religiously neutral scholarly ethnomusicology.
