A published case history by Koffels Solicitors and Barristers, an Australian law firm, summarising the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse's Case Study 23, its 2015 to 2016 inquiry into Knox Grammar School, a school under the ultimate governance of the Uniting Church in Australia. Over the course of 2015, 12 former students and their parents gave evidence to the Royal Commission of sexual abuse they suffered at the school; five former teachers were convicted of child sex offences against students there. A former headmaster told the Commission he had been aware of only one instance of abuse in his 29 years in the role, which the Commission found was clearly incorrect.

Reliability tier 3: a law firm's published summary of a public Royal Commission case study, independent of the Uniting Church itself, giving the student-witness count, the number of teachers convicted and the former headmaster's own mistaken testimony; used alongside Crosslight's account of the Commission's separate, later institutional review hearing.
Notes
Tier 3: the source for the Knox Grammar School case study's witness and conviction counts; read alongside Crosslight's account of the Commission's separate 2017 institutional review of the Uniting Church nationally.
