Origin from 2021
Canada's 2021 census, whose religion figures Statistics Canada released on 26 October 2022, counted 771,790 Sikhs, 2.12 percent of the national population, a rise of 69.6 percent from 454,965 in 2011. The count made Canada home to the world's largest national Sikh proportion and, after India itself, the world's second largest Sikh population by raw numbers.
