Left Angle Cross of Uncertainty (8/14)

The Left Angle Cross of Uncertainty carries the same pair as the Juxtaposition Cross of Empowering, Gate 8 and Gate 14. Human Design reads Gate 8, from Hexagram 8, Holding Together, sitting in the Throat, as the urge to contribute an individual style and stand publicly behind it; and Gate 14, from Hexagram 14, Great Possession, sitting in the Sacral centre, as the power skill that directs resources toward work worth doing. It belongs to the Left Angle family, read as transpersonal, a direction practitioners describe as answering less to personal choice than to what circumstance hands the individual.

Its design half is Gate 59 and Gate 55, unchanged. Gate 59 sits in the Sacral centre and is read as the energy that breaks down barriers between people; it pairs with Gate 6 in the channel of Mating. Gate 55 sits in the Solar Plexus and is read as an emotional weather swinging between melancholy and abundance; it pairs with Gate 39 in the channel of Emoting.

Where the Juxtaposition reading fixes this public contribution to a single profile, the Left Angle reading holds it as a role circumstance keeps handing back, the same barrier dissolving urge and unnamed mood beneath it either way.
