This article records tradition as it has been passed down and reported. Its sources are not yet part of the atlas's verified catalogue.
The Right Angle Cross of Maya carries the same two gate pairs as the cross's other three arrangements, here with Gate 61 and Gate 62 exposed. Its first article reads Gate 61 as the pressure to know the mystery behind existence, and Gate 62 as detail, the organising of facts into a spoken order. What it does not trace is where the four gates sit on the wheel itself, the Human Design mandala's division of its sixty four gates into four Quarters, and by that measure this ordering draws on exactly the same four Quarters as the rest of the family, one gate from each.
Gate 61, the personality gate here, falls in the Quarter of Mutation, purpose fulfilled through transformation. Gate 62, its personality partner, falls in the Quarter of Civilization, purpose fulfilled through form. Behind them, Gate 32 falls in the Quarter of Duality, purpose fulfilled through bonding, and Gate 42 falls in the Quarter of Initiation, purpose fulfilled through mind.
So the pressing after mystery and the naming of facts the first article reads on this ordering's surface answer to the arcs of transformation and form, while the caution about lasting and the drive to finish beneath them answer to the arcs of bonding and mind, the same four arcs the rest of the Maya family draws on however its two pairs are assigned to personality and design. All four role arrangements of the same two gate pairs share this same wheel wide spread, one gate from each Quarter regardless of order.
