Roles within Zoroastrianism, currently represented by the magus, the priestly office responsible for tending the sacred fire and performing the Avestan liturgy, a term from which the English word magic ultimately descends. One of many tradition specific clusters within the wider religious role type. Excludes priestly roles from other traditions, which are grouped under their own tradition specific clusters.
