The Sapta Puri, the seven cities named in Hindu tradition as granting moksha, liberation from the cycle of rebirth, to those who die or bathe there: Ayodhya, Mathura, Haridwar, Varanasi, Kanchipuram, Ujjain and Dwarka. The list itself is old and widely cited, though which additional sites are sometimes named alongside one of the seven varies between regional traditions. This grouping is narrower than the general Hindu Sites category, which covers Hindu sacred places without regard to this specific seven-city list.
