Christian theological movements of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries defined chiefly by their stance toward human religious experience and the possibility of natural knowledge of God: Liberal Theology's confidence in both, Neo-Orthodoxy's sharp rejection of both in favour of revelation alone, and Death of God Theology's later argument that the transcendent God of classical theism was no longer available to modern belief at all.
