Israel Regardie's published compilation of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's own internal papers, the primary documentary record of the order's actual rituals and teaching materials rather than a later summary of them. This is the sixth edition, published by Llewellyn in 1989, of the same book first published by Aries Press in 1937; this atlas holds that first edition as a separate record, and citing both together for the same claim is the same primary record counted twice, not independent corroboration. The atlas holds it as a primary historical document, the order's own direct record of what its papers contained, cited as the order's own account rather than as independent scholarly analysis of those rituals or as evidence that the rituals achieve what they claim to achieve. A claim about the order's own later history or about competing lineages descended from it needs a separate historical study.
