Tetrabiblos is Claudius Ptolemy's own second century Greek treatise laying out the theory and practice of astrology as he and his contemporaries understood it, one of the founding texts of the entire Western astrological tradition. It is rated at the top of the reliability scale as a primary source, meaning it is authoritative for what Ptolemy himself taught and for what the earliest systematic astrological doctrine actually said, not for whether any of that doctrine describes anything real. Use it to document historical astrological theory and its transmission; it is not evidence that a planetary influence exists, and a claim about how later astrologers modified or departed from Ptolemy needs a source that traces that later history.
